Will insurance pay for my radiologic services?

In addition, you may be required to have a referral from your primary care physician in order to obtain radiology services.

What is the billing process?

Associated Radiologists, PA will submit bills to your insurance plan using the insurance information you last provided, as well as information about your reason for the examination, and the exact type of procedure performed.

If Associated Radiologists, PA is a participating provider with your insurance plan, you will only be responsible for any applicable co-payment or deductible payment that is your responsibility.

If we do not participate with your insurance plan, bills will still be submitted to your insurance plan on your behalf. You will be responsible for the full fee, minus any insurance payments.

Your insurance plan may send you an Explanation of Benefits, commonly known as an EOB, for your records. The EOB typically details the patient visit, including the service rendered, attending physician charges, payments, and special notations.
