Roy J. Fertakos, MD

Dr. Fertakos received his medical degree from the UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, Piscataway, NJ.  He completed his Radiology residency at Morristown Memorial Hospital/Columbia Presbyterian Program, Morristown, NJ.  He is fellowship trained in Body Imaging (Musculoskeletal MRI), which he received at the University of Maryland, Baltimore, MD.  Dr. Fertakos is certified by the National Board of Medical Examiners and the American Board of Radiology.  He is also certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Dr. Fertakos is a member of the American College of Radiology, American Roentgen Ray Society, and Society of Nuclear Medicine. His special interest is in Magnetic Resonance Imaging/Musculoskeletal Imaging as well as Nuclear Medicine/PET and publishes in this topic.
